My name is Asarin Supakorn Durongkadej. I also go by Matt. I was born in Washington D.C. in 1984. I finished 10thgrade in Thailand at Prasanmit High School in Bangkok before I was sent to the U.S to live with my aunt in the year of 2000.
I chose Television and Film major. I transferred to California State University, Los Angeles. I continued the rest of my required classes for my BA degree there in Art and Letter, or Television Film and Media Studies with an option in Computer Animation. I graduated in 2007. I had been working as an intern in different production companies: music label, movies distribution, and new media promoter.
My first entertainment career after I graduated was a computer artist, creating animation logo/program intro/ light editing, at Thai Over Seas Television (TOTV) in Long Beach, CA in year 2008. In mid 2009,
I was hired as an editor and assistant at IPtv in San Fernando, CA.
I was then hired as an editor and moved up to became an operation manager at Network Of Asia Telecommunication (NATTV). This company focuses in shopping channels. There were 2 channels available at the time I began my career.
This company has taught me almost everything from production process, on air operation, staff management, contract agreement process to technical skills. Meanwhile, in 2010, I debut my own Freelance production company called Nirasacreative (www.nirasacreative.com). As of today, I am an Operation Manager of NATTV.
I have learned various skills: financial management, deal making and negotiation, problem solving (especially employees), international agreement writing, fast-pace work environment, and many more.
I am attending Full Sail University in Entertainment Business Master hoping to strengthen my management skills, deal and negotiation skills, and leadership skills.
I also hope that I would own a broadcast station, including IP stream base and Satellite broadcasting.
