Thailand Get into Furby!

Today, I might be a little off the topic from online broadcasting.  I will be talking about the product that hits Thailand right now.  ?

You wanna guess, what it is ?.....

It’s Furry.

This little robotic talking pet's toy, which only speaks Furbish language.

Furby is on the television, newspaper, radio show, and billboard in Thailand like a super star! I don’t know how and why this Furby became so famous at this time in Thailand and no other countries are having this trend. I notice one page on Facebook that this Furby now is illegal for import from USA. The penalty is equal as a criminal selling illegal drugs!, according to Thai newspaper. Is this a joke? or Is it true ?

           

Furby speaks its own language and can response to owner using basic English but limited understanding in some wording. By the way, this furby uses battery to operate.

What drove me to create blog about this Furby is how Hasbro misses the opportunity to generate more revenue. I believe Hasbro, the maker of Furby, isn’t aware that Furby will be sold out in the US and became a big hit. The company is not producing enough current demand. Hasbro can generate more revenue if the company accelerate their production to meet the demand, since this trend will gone fast.

The other day, when I was trying to shop this Furby at Toy’s R Us, Kmart, Walmart, and any other local stores, they are all sold out. Estimated delivery time is unknown. If I were the Hasbro production staff and Marketing team, I would work as fast as I can to increase production line to meet the demand in a very short period of time. Advertising is not needed in this case, since people talk around as they advertise Furby.

I have had pre-ordered customers in Thailand that looking to purchase this Furby, but unfortunately, I was unable to find and ship to Thailand anymore.

This event taught me that I should act fast to gain profit from the trend around the world especially in Thailand. I can generate profit from this trend if I make quicker decision to purchase Furby and ship to Thailand. In this case, I would make more money by shipping this Furby back to Thailand and selling it once anybody else can not.
